NKR PRESIDENT HIGHLIGHTS THE ROLE OF ARTSAKH WOMEN IN THE STATE-BUILDING PROCESS

YEREVAN, MARCH 24, ARMENPRESS: President of the Artsakh Republic
Bako Sahakyan received today representatives of the "Mayrutyun"
public organization at the head of its chairwoman Hasmik Mikayelyan.
Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President
told Armenpress that during the meeting members of the organization
introduced to B. Sahakyan the activities carried out by them in 2009
and action plans for the year of 2010.
Bako Sahakyan considered important the role of Artsakh women in
the state-building process, upbringing of younger generation and
preserving national traditions. The President rated positive the
active involvement of the "Mayrutyun" organization in the public
sphere of the country expressing hope that it would keep maintaining
such a working style.
