A.AGHAYAN: FOR CHANGING THE POWER THE OPPOSITION SHOULD BE CHANGED

Armen Aghayan, member of the "Armenian elections" initiation group
thinks that the parliament and the opposition do not have enough
power to influence on the ratification process of the Armenian –
Turkish protocols.

"ANC has almost agreed, and the ARF wing of the opposition is moving
to that direction," Armen Aghayan noticed.

According to him the problem of the authorities has received
another formulation; it is getting connected with the "change of the
opposition" little by little. According to Aghayan our society has
the right to have an opposition which will have distinct positions
concerning the national issues.

However, Armen Aghayan doesn’t see any danger of out of turn elections,
even more, he is sure that the wing which has the power doesn’t even
think about it.

As for the conversations concerning Robert Qocharian’s returning
to policy A. Aghayan noticed that it is the authorities who own the
administrative resources and to "expect that R. Qocharyan will return
to the power by the national elections, is meaningless."
