The speed of the flow of information is evidently growing and in
this matter, "we should be more watchful," said RA Presidential Staff
Public Relations and Information Department Chair and IT specialist
Ara Saghatelyan at a press conference today, while speaking about
information security.

"Much has been said recently about solutions by force [to the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict]. It is Azerbaijan that initiates those
conversations, and some Armenian representatives are also intent on
making it a subject for discussion," said Saghatelyan.

According to the IT specialist, in this case, contemporary wars,
along with being fought in the battlefield, are also fought in the
informational psychological arena.

"The public draws some conclusions by reading what we write. But
some Armenian media outlets consider those conversations about the
possibility of the war to be fake. In no way are they related to the
real threats of war," explained Saghatelyan.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
