IN 2010 EBRD IS PLANNING TO INVEST IN ARMENIA AS MUCH AS A YEAR BEFORE – $150MLN

ArmInfo. In 2010 EBRD is planning to invest in Armenia as much as
a year before – $150mln or 85.2mln EUR, EBRD President Thomas Mirow
said during a press-conference in Yerevan today.
He said that in 2009 EBRD showed all-time high investment level and is
going to preserve this amount this year. However, the bank cannot say
the precise sum until all of its programs are specified. Mirow said
that the money will be spent on infrastructure, industry, services
and financial sector. EBRD has invested a total of 393mln EUR in
Armenia so far.
