Major American companies from defence, aviation and the space
industry have called on the House of Representatives to reject the
Armenian bill.

They believe that if the draft is passed, it will endanger exports
to Turkey.

CEOs of the five major American aviation and space companies warned
that "if the draft passes through the Foreign Relations Committee,
it will lead to cracks in Turkish-American relations and risk American
business activities."

Also the Association of Aviation and Space Industries – an organization
representing more than 270 companies – said exports to Turkey tripled
in 2008 and went beyond $10 billion.

Chairperson of the association Marion Blakey says Turkey, who is one of
the most important trade partners of America, should not be offended.
