France, Russia To Set To Work Over Settlement To Karabakh

FRANCE, RUSSIA TO SET TO WORK OVER SETTLEMENT TO KARABAKH

Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev on his visit to France has held
talks with President Nicolas Sarkozy. The parties mainly focused on
items of Russia-France political cooperation, according to statements
by the Kremlin.

Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Nicolas Sarkozy also discussed issue
of the European security, including Russian initiative to design
a treaty on European security, item of the Iranian nuclear weapons
work, situation in Afghanistan and in the Middle East, and the issue
of Karabakh.

"As for Nagorno-Karabakh, Russia and France will make their efforts
to help Armenia and Azerbaijan to get messages of each other," said
at the joint press conference France’s President Sarkozy.
