Jeyhun Osmanly Head of the Ireli public movement has shared his
opinion regarding the tragic events in Khojaly.

On December 24 we took part in the presentation of the video on
Khojaly tragedy taken within the framework of the campaign "Justice for
Khojaly". The most important is that the video was taken in the form
in which it can be perceived by the young people throughout the world.

The statement came from head of the Ireli public movement Jeyhun
Osmanly.

"Our current goal is to advocate this video via foreign mass medias
for more people to be able to watch it abroad", he said.

According to Osmanly, the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" has turned
into the factor uniting Azerbaijanis.

"This is the factor that unites Azerbaijanis residing abroad. We
should present Khojaly as a problem of Azerbaijan and the whole world.

No nation is secured of genocide and terror. If today Azerbaijan’s
just voice is not heard, the same aggression can target any other
nation", he said.

Osmanly also spoke of measures devoted to the next anniversary of
tragedy in Khojaly. "As you know Ireli’s goal is to inform the world
community about the tragic events in Khojaly. Different events will
be held in such European cities as Paris, London, Rotterdam, Leipzig,
Kassel, Vilnius and Tallin. Informing about Khojaly, we also inform
the world community about Nagorno Karabakh as about the integral part
of Azerbaijan. We have chosen the slogan "Nagorno Karabakh is a land
of not only our ancestors but also our future generations", he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
