PROTOCOLS’ RATIFICATION IS A SERIOUS ISSUE, SAYS MINASIAN

"The Republican Party of Armenia after hearings on Armenia-Turkey
protocols came to the conclusion that the documents are in our nation
and state’s interests," told journalists the party’s member Mkrtych
Minasian.
"Statements by Turkey and the ongoing processes in Turkey are a cause
of serious concern," he said. "We must be very careful and launch the
parliamentary hearings only after seeing that Turkey’s parliament is
fulfilling its obligations without preconditions."
When asked about possible ratification for protocols by Armenian
parliament ahead of the Turkish one, the politician said that "this
is a very serious issue."
"We must receive documents only if the Turkish parliament ratifies
these two documents," stressed Mkrtych Minasian.
