ARMENIAN PEACEKEEPING CONTINGENT ARRIVES AT DISLOCATION PLACE IN KUDUZ, AFGHANISTAN

ArmInfo. To implement the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, the
Armenian contingent of 40 military servicemen included in NATO forces
arrived at the dislocation place in Kunduz, Afghanistan, on February
14, the Armenian defense ministry press-service told ArmInfo.

To recall, the main mission of the Armenian contingent is to ensure
the security of Kunduz Airport jointly with the German forces. Within
the next week the group will tackle issues related to dislocation
and logistic support. On February 16, the officers of the group will
go to the Kunduz Airport to familiarize themselves with the location
and their task.
