STATISTICAL RESULTS OF 2009 WERE SUMMED UP

The next session of the state council of NKR Statistics was
devoted to the summary of results of the works realized in the
sphere of 2009. Representatives of Stepanakert and territorial
departments of NSS were also invited at the session. The chair
of the council represented briefly the achievements, works and
problems of the current year, stopping in detail on versions of
reasons and abolition of the latter’s origination. According to
her, workers of the service have managed to solve the problems put
before the structure. First, the chief of the council has informed,
that National Statistical Service its activity of 2009 has promoted
on account of assignments of the state budget. With regard to the
year 1450 statistical works have been realized. Let’s note, that
NSS, according to the NKR law "About state statistics", realizes its
activity on the basis of yearly programs confirmed by the Statistical
Council. It was succeeded to finish 7 and also1 being added during the
year statistical researches and experimental estimations foreseen by
the program. M. Minasyan has informed, that in period under review 151
statistical and analytic materials have been published by the service,
13 of them are statistical collections. "NKR socio-economic condition
in January-December of 2008" was published in Russian for the first
time. 14 press notifications, operative information, the sizes of
which in comparison with the previous year have increased, especially
about demographical indexes and agriculture, have been represented
to corresponding bodies. Increase of 2009 of productivity of NSS
works, M. Minasyan stipulates also with seminar-conferences organized
periodically by the service, during which the territorial departments
get consultation and methodical assistance. One of the important
preconditions of an increase of works’ productivity is strengthening
of collaboration with RA similar structures. It’s necessary to note,
that the document signed in the end of the last year between NKR and
RA structures of the same name, creates wide chances in that sense.
Leaders of the territorial departments performed with statements
after the report of the chair of the Statistical state council. They
represented works and problems sprung up during the activity. They
were almost the same in the regions. M. Minasyan was not dissatisfied
with works of the regional structures. Their leaders got corresponding
assignments for abolition of the fixed defects.
