INVESTIGATION IS COMPLETED

The preliminary investigation of the robbery at the house of the
ex-chairman of the Customs Committee Armen Avetisyan committed in
the night of October 27, 2008is completed. As the press secretary
of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports, 10 persons are brought
as perpetrators. The former deputy chief of the Soviet Division of
Yerevan Armenian police Nikoghosyan is charged with organizing a
robbery, murder and other preparations.
Ara Karapetyan, Arsen Sogomonyan, Bagrat Sogomonyan, Hayk Melkonyan,
Arshak Grigoryan, Hovhannes Nazaryan, Mikolay Khachikyan, Suren
Melkonyan and Ashot Khachatryan have also been charged. Arrest is
applied as a preventive measure to the accused. Case was sent to the
court. The citizen R. Virabyan is wanted whom the investigation is
also intended to attract as a defendant.
