Orange Company Announces Launch Of Benevolent Programs For 2010

ORANGE COMPANY ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS FOR 2010

ArmInfo. With the financial support of Orange company, a kindergarten
was opened in Vahagnadzor village of Lori region of Armenia on January
21, the company’s press-release says.

The company provided 8 mln AMD (over $21 thsd) for the heating system,
cleaning of the kindergarten’s area and acquisition of the necessary
furniture. The benevolent programs of Orange have been launched with
the opening of the kindergarten in Vahagnadzor. The programs will
be implemented jointly with the charity company "Shen". Thanks to
the company’s investments, the kindergarten, which was closed for
several years, can accommodate 30 children today.

CEO of Orange Armenia Bruno Duthoit said that his company realizes
how much enterprises can do to ensure Armenia’s stable development
and is ready to make its contribution. Priority should be given to
education and cultural development of children.

Together with "Shen", this year, Orange Armenia is planning a program
to heat and improve kindergartens in a number of remote districts
of Armenia.

Mobile and internet service operator, Orange (subsidiary of France
Telecom), started its activities in Armenia Nov 5 2009. The company
has 190mln subscribers in 32 countries.
