ANC-WR JOINS DISNEY THEME PARKS IN `GIVE A DAY. GET A DISNEY DAY’ GRASSROOTS
INITIATIVE

ANC Activists Will Have the Opportunity to Give Back to the Community and
Receive One Day Complimentary Admission to a Disney Theme Park

GLENDALE, CA—The Armenian National Committee-Western Region (ANC-WR) is
proud to announce that it will be participating in the "Give A Day. Get a
Disney Day" program. The initiative is organized by the community
service-inspiring HandsOn Network in collaboration with Disney Theme Parks.

Beginning January 1, 2010, individuals will be able to sign up to volunteer
their time with the ANC-WR and/or its local chapters, give back to the
community and receive complimentary one day admission to Disneyland or Walt
Disney World.

"What makes the ANC the strongest and most effective Armenian American
grassroots public affairs organization is its ability to educate, motivate,
and activate in order to increase civic engagement. In doing so, we help do
our part to build better communities," said Raffi Kassabian, a member of the
ANC-WR Board of Directors. "Through the ‘Give A Day. Get A Disney Day’
Program the ANC hopes to engage a new generation of volunteers from across
the western United States to become active and remain active within their
local chapters and communities."

The "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day" program will continue until the 1,000,000
ticket is given out or until December 15, 2010, whichever occurs first.

speak with Haig Hovsepian, the program coordinator for the ANC-WR.

The Armenian National Committee-Western Region is the largest Armenian
American grassroots community organization in the Western United States.
Working in coordination with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters
throughout the Western United States and affiliated organizations around the
country, the ANC-WR works to promote understanding regarding issues of
concern to the Armenian American community.
