THE ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS CAN IMPROVE THE SITUATION

The 5th and the 6th rounds of the team world chess tournament taking
place in Turkish Bursa city weren’t successful for the Armenian
National team. Our team ended in draw the game with the Indian team
with the score 2:2. Then all of a sudden he lost the game with the
Greece with the score of 1:3.
In the game with the Indian team Levon Aronyan lost the game with
Krishnan Sashikirani. Vladimir Hakobyan resumed the balance of the
game and got privilege over Harikrishna. The other games ended in draw.
On the 6th round Levon Aronyan and Gabriel Sargsyan accordingly ended
in draw the game with Kotronias and Banikas, and Vladimir Hakobyan
and Tigran L. Petrosyan conceded Papioanu and Halkias.
The Armenian team now has received 7 points and is on the 3rd place.
The leaders are the national teams of Russia and the USA. In the
forthcoming tours our chess players will play with the mentioned
teams and in case of success will be able to regain the lost positions.
