NKR FM SENDS LETTER TO OSCE CHAIRMAN

Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign Ministry sent a letter to incumbent
OSCE Chairman-in-Office George Papandreou on Dec. 20 incident on
NKR-Azerbaijan armed forces’ contact line.

The letter says that a woman heading to NKR defense army combat
station was shot on NKR-Azerbaijan armed forces’ contact line near
Aghdam on Dec. 20, NKR FM press service informed NEWS.am.

"This is not the first time that locals, forcedly settled in frontier
zone and abused for military purposes, try to move to the Karabakhi
side due to unbearable conditions", the letter reads.

NKR MFA drew OSCE office’s attention to the fact that the mentioned
incident occurred as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani
side, while the Armenian servicemen did their utmost to prevent the
woman’s tragic death."

A copy of the letter was sent to the Personal Representative of the
Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and OSCE MG Co-Chairs:
Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Bernard Fassier (France) and Robert Bradtke
(U.S.).
