The Ambassadors of Sweden and Lithuania to Armenia today presented
priorities of the EU Swedish Presidency, as well as the achievements
and failures of the past six months. Reference was made to the
EU Eastern Partnership Program, the possible establishment of
Armenian-Turkish relations and human rights issues.

After the Armenian-Turkish relations are established, the European
Union will try to maximally assist with the implementation of the
diplomatic agreement. It will be done only after the protocols come
into force, Lithuania’s Ambassador to Armenia Giedrius Apuokas told
reporters.

Touching upon the issue of human rights in Armenia, Swedish Ambassador
to Armenia Hans Gunnar Aden said the issue has been recently discussed
with the Armenian authorities" and they expect answers to issues they
are interested in.
