OSCE MINISTERIAL COUNCIL HAILS STATEMENT ADOPTED OVER NKR CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Yerevan (Yerkir) – Fifty-five states of the OSCE Ministerial Council in
Athens adopted declaration hailing the statement over Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict resolution adopted on December 1.

"We hail the joint statement released on 1 December over the
conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh by Minsk group co-chairing states’
Foreign Ministers Lavrov, Qouchner, deputy state secretary Stinberg,
Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan and Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammediarov,"
the statement writes. The ministers adopted a statement urging the
Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries to sustain the positive dynamic of
negotiations of the negotiations and aiming to finalize the Basic
Principles on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"We are convinced there is today a real opportunity to build a
future of peace, stability and prosperity for the entire region,"
the statement said.
