Today, Serge Sargsyan met with the U.S. Deputy Undersecretary of
Defense Celesta Volander. Serge Sargsyan said we are interested in
the deepening of the Armenian and American warm relations. According
to him, Armenia assesses highly the U.S. assistance to Armenia since
independence, as well as the U.S. efforts aimed at the settlement of
regional issues.
The U.S. Defense representative said the essential aim of her visit
is to understand better the urgencies in the Armenian defense sphere.
Serge Sargsyan underscored the Armenian participation in the
international peace action, the press office of the president reports.
