ARMENIA’S DIAMOND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCES SHORTAGE OF RAW MATERIALS

processing industry of Armenia maintains its pace, but there is a
problem with the availability of raw materials.
As RA Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan told journalists in Nor
Hajn-based Lori LLC on Tuesday, "major suppliers of raw materials
prefer not to sell rough diamonds at low prices, but rather keep them".
According to him, many international companies indicate that the
diamond industry has started to recover, and Armenia should seize
this opportunity.
