SITUATION ON CIS SECURITIES MARKET TO BE DISCUSSED IN ARMENIA

The Council of the Heads of CIS Securities Market Regulatory Bodies
is to hold its 10th meeting in Tsakhkadzor, Armenia, on November 10-11.

The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) told NEWS.am
that the Council, which has been headed by CBA Chairman Artur Javadyan
since last year, will discuss the situation on the CIS securities
market, implementation of its previous decisions, as well as issues of
defusing the crisis and exchanging secret information on investors’
protection. The Council will listen to a comparative analysis of the
CIS members’ laws on taxation mechanisms and settlement systems on
the securities’ market. The meeting will also discuss the economic
situation in the CIS.

The Council was formed in 2003. The Council members are Armenia,
Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus
and Azerbaijan.
