The men team of chess of Armenia in the 6th round of the European
team league took a victory over the Spanish team with a score of 3:1
and improved its situation. Levon Aronyan and Vladimir Hakobyan ended
in draw the game with Aleksey Shirov and Francisco Valekhoy. Gabriel
Sargsyan anjd Tigran Petrosyan took a victory over Miguel Illeskasi
and Ivan Salgadoy and brought two points to our team. Due to this
victory the Armenian team reached the amount of its points to 9 and
now is sharing the 2-4 places with the teams of Russia and Georgia.
The leader, which is the team of Azerbaijan, ended in draw with the
Russian team and has 11 points in his credit. The Georgians shared
their points with the Ukrainian team.
Today, in the 7th round the rival of our team is Azrebaijan. In case
of victory the Armenian team will get an excellent chance of becoming
the Champion of Europe.
