ORACLE DAYS TO BECOME ANNUAL IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, NOYAN TAPAN. It is expected that Oracle Days
will become annual in Armenia. Oracle Corporation (U.S.) specializes
in developing and marketing enterprise software products, NT
correspondent was informed by Armen Karapetian, Director General
of Softline International Armenia – the Armenian subsidiary of
Russia-based Softline International company, a certified partner of
Oracle Corporation.

He said that Oracle Days held on October 20-21 for the second time in
our country showed that the demand for corporate software solutions of
Oracle () is increasing at Armenian companies, as well
as in the banking, financial and state sectors. The broader use of
these solutions requires more targeted work on training specialists
of customer-partner structures. During Oracle Days 2009 in Yerevan,
Oracle’s latest database management systems and information storage
and transmission software aimed mostly at the financial, banking,
and state sectors were presented.

Oracle was founded in Silicon Valley in 1977. Its profit in the first
quarter of the 2010 financial year (announced on 18 September 2009)
made .7 billion, growing by 14% on the previous financial year.
