Bursa city (Turkey) public organizations protest as local authorities
baned to wave Azeri flags at the Turkey-Armenia football match due
on October 14.

Public organizations in the city sew 15 thousand Azeri flags as a
protest against the official decision. Representatives of Kamu-Sen
professional union declare that citizens of Bursa intend to reveal
hospitality, however, they have democratic right to speak out their
problems.

NEWS.am informed earlier that Kamu-Sen under the assistance of Azeri
and Turkish organizations collected signatures September 29 against
arrival of RA President in Turkey as their President’s invitation to
attend the match Armenian leader turned into a squeeze play demanding
opening of the border. The protesters maintain Turkey is a powerful
country and should not be squeezed by the small Armenia.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
