South-Caucasian Railways To Cooperate With State Engineering Univers

SOUTH-CAUCASIAN RAILWAYS TO COOPERATE WITH STATE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA

South-Caucasian Railways has signed a cooperation agreement with
State Engineering University of Armenia, the press office of the
company reported on Friday.

The aim of the cooperation is to train engineers and economists for
the company.

The first experience came this summer, when the university students
passed internship in Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan trains.

At his meeting with Vostanik Marukhyan, rector of the engineering
university, Shevket Shaydullin, general director of South-Caucasian
Railways, expressed gratitude to students Vahan Arshakan and Tigran
Yengoyan for active participation in the company’s work.

The South-Caucasian Railway CJSC is concession manager of the Armenian
Railway Company. South-Caucasian Railway, fully owned by the Russian
Railways Company, listed in its fixed assets the rolling stock of
the Armenian Railways on June 1, 2008, under a concession contract
of February 13, 2008.
