/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian-Turkish rapprochement will have a
positive impact on Georgia, Paata Zakareashvili, Program Director
at Center for Development and Cooperation, told a PanARMENIAN.Net
reporter. "Normalization of ties between neighboring states may
only have positive impact on the region, increasing international
community’s trust in South Caucasus and pushing forward regional
projects," Georgian expert noted.

According to him, normalization of Armenian-Turkish ties and border
opening will make Armenia more flexible in both economic and political
terms. "Armenia will definitely acquire a more prominent role in the
region. She may become a regional stakeholder," Zakareashvili said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
