Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. "There is still much to do before
reopening the borders," Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said
in Tbilisi while answering APA’s question about the protocols agreed
between Turkey and Armenia.

On the first day of his trip Davutoglu visited the Square that was
once densely populated by Azerbaijanis, ancient bathhouses and Juma
mosque. Today the Foreign Minister will meet with Georgia’s President
Mikhail Saakashvili. Ahmet Davutoglu told journalists that he will
also visit Abkhazia.

"We want to familiarize ourselves with Abkhazia and try to regulate
its relations with Georgia," he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
