ARMENIA IS GOING TO MARK 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF CHOPIN

ArmInfo. The Armenian Culture Ministry and Polish Embassy in Armenia
have prepared an action plan for marking the 200th anniversary of
one of the greatest composers Frederic Chopin.

Deputy Culture Minister of Armenia David Muradyan said at a
press-conference, Tuesday, that the festive activities will be
held throughout the year 2010. The action plan includes a special
program to be implemented within the frames of the International Film
Festival "Golden Apricot". "Films about the famous composer’s life,
which were shot in different countries of the world will be shown",-
