INTERNET SWINDLERS REPORTED ON ARMENIAN WEB SITE

According to a news brief in yesterday’s Ecommerce Journal, state
investigators in Armenia reported that they detected underground
casinos that acted under the guise of internet clubs. According
to the official sources, owners of the clubs were at the same time
representatives and providers of electronic payment system Web Money
in Armenia. In the course of their activity in the country swindlers
managed to earn through WebMoney an amount of about $300,000,

Last week the national police blocked the site of the Armenian version
of WebMoney. According to some sources the site was shut down for an
indefinite period of time.
