SESSION OF NA PARLIAMENTARY AD HOC COMMISSION TAKES PLACE
YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS: Session of the parliamentary ad hoc
commission set up for the inquiry into March 1-2 2008 events in
Yerevan was held today. During the session chairman of the commission
Samvel Nikoyan presented information about the implemented works.
NA public relations department told Armenpress that Nikoyan noted
that during the summer members of the commission conducted working
consultations, all the received reports were sent to preliminary
investigation body, letter has been sent to National Security Service
with questions over disputable issues and received answers.
Member of the commission Aram Safaryan spoke about the works over
the report. He said that the commission gave a task to member of the
NA Naira Zohrabyan to prepare the part of a report referring to the
pre-electoral and post-electoral events.
The members of the commission presented suggestions on the
document. During the session the participants discussed other issues
of the agenda.
