ARDSHININVESTBANK STARTS TRANSFERS BY RIA INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT SYSTEM

ArmInfo. Beginning August 24, all the branches of Ardshininvestbank
started transfers by RIA international payment system as well. As
the press service of Ardshininvestbank told ArmInfo, the new system
enables the bank clients to carry out money transfers through 70000
service points in over 100 countries of the world.
According to Chairman of the Board of Ardshininvestbank Nerses
Karamanukyan, the bank strives to assist the Armenian compatriots
and their relatives in making transfers to and from Armenia through
a quick and reliable system.
"In this sphere, Ardshininvestbank cooperates only with the leading,
experienced and reliable partners, one of which is RIA system",
he emphasized.
Ardshininvestbank carries out money transfers also through other
international payment systems, such as Contact, MoneyGram, Migom,
Fast Mail, IntelExpress and the Russian Promsvyazbank, Sotsgorbank,
Forabank and Sberbank. Today, 80% of the bank’s total turnover of
money transfers falls on CIS, and the remaining part – on the USA and
Europe. Ardshininvestbank, by its branch network, takes the second
place in the banking system of Armenia and has 55 branches, 13 of which
are in Yerevan, 36 – in the regions and 6 – in the NKR. The bank also
has a representation in Paris. "Business Investments Center" LTD with
86,82% equity share and the International Financial Corporation (IFC)
– 10% are the majority shareholders of Ardshininvestbank. In 2008,
Moody’s International Rating Agency assigned a long-term Ba1 and
short-term Not Prime ratings to Ardshininvestbank by investments in
the local currency, a long-term Ba3 and short- term Not Prime – by
investments in foreign currency, as well as ‘D-‘ rating of financial
stability (‘BFSR’). In 2008, the bank was given an international
Quality Management System Certificate ISO 9001: 2000.
