Saturday, 22 Aug 2009

Tehran Times reported that Iranian carmaker Iran Khodro Company
exported over 8,500 passenger cars in the past 4 months showing an
almost 100% increase compared to the same period in the year before.
Iran Customs Administration has confirmed the data related to the
exports of cars by IKCO for the past 4 months.
Directors of exports and public relations at Iran Customs
Administration held a session with IKCO’s director for exports to
remove the discrepancies in the export documents.
Peugeot 206, Peugeot Pars, Peugeot 405, Peugeot Roa and Samand sedans
were the company’s export bound cars which were sent to Iraq, Armenia,
Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Syria and Afghanistan.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
