ADC-MEDIAMAX – CLIMBING THE DREAM!

Armenian Datacom Company(ADC), a leader in business communication
services in Armenia, has sponsored Mediamax News Agency in achieving a
long-standing goal. ‘Climbing the Dream’ was realized on August 1st-5th
when Mediamax expedition members climbed to the top of Mount Ararat.
The main purpose of the expedition is linked to two remarkable
anniversaries. Firstly, 180 years ago, on September 27th, 1829,
Mount Ararat was conquered for the first time in history by Johann
Friedrich Parrot, a Russian researcher at Derpt (Tartu) University and
Khachatur Abovyan, a renowned Armenian writer. Secondly, the 15th of
October marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Khachatur Abovyan.
Recognizing the importance of these two anniversaries, ADC became
the sole sponsor of this historical Mediamax expedition.
Photos and videos taken on this mission will immortalize this
expedition and make it a part of Armenian history.
Since the day Parrot and Abovyan first conquered Mount Ararat, today,
and into the future, legendary Mount Ararat will continue to attract
climbers from Armenia and many other countries. Future expeditions
are welcome and will receive the keen attention of Armenians around
the world.
