Armenian National Library announces book gathering for libraries and
schools of Artsakh. Director of the National Library David Sargsyan
told Armenpress that during the visit to Nagorno Karabakh it was
found out that the libraries are in desperate situation and need
material assistance.

The libraries of Artsakh have serious issues connected with their
building conditions and book fund. "It is necessary to support
libraries of Karabakh, help them by donating literature," D. Sargsyan
said.

Those who wish to join the initiative may send books to the Armenian
National Library by September 20.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
