AZERBAIJANI DEFENSE MINISTER MAKES ANOTHER MILITARISTS STATEMENT

ArmInfo. Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev declared at the
meeting with his Russian counterpart Anatoly Serdyukov that Russia’s
efforts in settlement of the Karabakh conflict are highly appreciated
and inspire with hope. "Nevertheless, if the conflict is not settled by
peace methods, military confrontation is inevitable," Abiyev said. The
Azerbaijani media reported that the parties discussed the prospects
of the military and technical cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan,
the current military and political situation in the South Caucasus
and the Karabakh conflict.
