Armenia Fund Chairman Visits ANCA

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, June 30, 2009 Armenia Fund U.S. Western
Region Chairman Ara Aghishian, Esq. and Public Relations Director Sarkis
Kotanjian visited the headquarters of the Armenian National Committee of
America. The two met with ANCA Executive Director Aram Hamparian and
discussed areas of cooperation between the Armenia Fund and the ANCA in
benefit of furthering the mission of Armenia Fund and its nation
building endeavors. The meeting was held at the ANCA’s Washington, D.C.
offices.

Mr. Hamparian provided a briefing on the ongoing works of the ANCA, its
public outreach campaigns, and future planned projects. In turn,
Mr.Aghishian provided an update of the Armenia Fund’s projects in
Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, as well as its ongoing programs to better
engage the greater Armenian Diaspora in rebuilding efforts in the
Homeland. The meeting concluded with agreement on continued cooperation
between the two organizations.

infrastructure development assistance to Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.
