8 FENCERS OF ARMENIA BECOME PRIZE WINNERS OF BATUMI INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

BATUMI, JULY 3, NOYAN TAPAN. The International Junior Fencing
Tournament finished in the capital of Adjara, Batumi, on July
1. Armenia presented 20 boy and girl participants.

Foil fencer Hasmik Aghababian (Byureghavan) beat all her competitors
and took the 1st place. Foil fencer Zhora Vardanian and epe’e
fencer Aramayis Gaboyan (both from the sports school of the Arabkir
prefecture) returned with the second prize. 5 members of the same
team took the 3rd place.
