ArmInfo. Foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan said after
the last meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Saint
Petersburg that the meeting was constructive, the parties move forward
and another top-level meeting is possible in the near future, Foreign
Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan said today when commenting
on Azerbaijan’s statements on absence of any progress during the
last meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents because of
‘non-constructive stance of the Armenian party’.

‘The both foreign ministers’ impressions from the meeting were
positive. It is strange that the minions of the president of Azerbaijan
disseminate the statements on absence of any progress. It seems their
right hand is unaware of the doings of the left hand, or there are
serious discrepancies in the minions of the Azerbaijani president. I
advise not to pay any attention to such statements as they are
unserious. However, a regular nature of these statements gives rise
to confidence that Azerbaijan holds negotiations for the purpose
other than achievement of specific results’, El. Nalbandyan said.
