SARKOZY AGAINST OBAMA: TURKEY EU MEMBER?

The President of the United States Barack Obama encourages his
colleagues to grant Turkey European Union membership, but the President
of France Nicolas Sarkozy acted against that idea.
Obama says Turkey is an important member of NATO and has significant
role in resolution of Afghnistan conflict.
The Turkish economy, according to the U.S. President, has stable
development and is ready to present the European family in equal basis.
