NKR: State Final And Centralized Examinations Started

STATE FINAL AND CENTRALIZED EXAMINATIONS STARTED

Since June 2, state final and centralized examinations have started
in the RA and in Artsakh. For the first time in Artsakh about 200
graduates, in accord with the centralized examination procedure,
took examinations in Biology, Geography and in Genaral History in
the 3 examination centres at Artsakh State University, school N3 and
school N7 of Stepanakert. The examination passed in accord with the
organization and conducting order of centralized examinations.

In all the three centres the organizational part of examinations
passed on a high level. In each examination centre the authorized
representative of the NKR Minister of Education and Science is
present. Half an hour after the examinations started NKR Prime
Minister A.Haroutyunyan visited the examination centre at Artsakh State
University to get familiarized with the situation at spot. The course
of examinations was controlled by the NKR Minister and Deputy Minister
of Education and Science and by the director of the Testing Centre
as well. Parents of the entrants as well had a chance to follow the
course of examinations through the TV screens and monitors allocated
on the outside.

Meeting the requests of the last year entrants’ parents, this year
larger screens have been set. In each examination centre 4-8 video
cameras as well as mufflers aimed at preventing the possible phone
calls are installed. According to Y.Qaramyan, director of Estimation
and Testing Centre, the Government financed the facilities necessary
for fulfilling all their demands aimed at conducting fair, objective
and transparent examinations.
