President Of Croatia Stjepan Mesic To Be In Armenia On Official Visi

PRESIDENT OF CROATIA STJEPAN MESIC TO BE IN ARMENIA ON OFFICIAL VISIT ON MAY 21-23

YEREVAN, MAY 21, NOYAN TAPAN. At RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s
invitation President of Croatia Stjepan Mesic arrives in Yerevan on
an official visit in the evening of May 21. The main goal of Croatian
President’s first official visit is to strengthen interstate contacts,
to outline primary directions and tasks of economic cooperation between
the two countries, to promote development of scientific-cultural and
cultural contacts.

The official meeting ceremony of Croatian President will take place
on May 22 at RA President’s residence, which will be followed by
a private talk between S. Sargsyan and S. Mesic. Then official
delegations’ meeting in an enlarged staff will take place, after
which intergovernmental documents will be signed. The Armenian and
Croatian leaders will have a joint press conference.

Within the framework of the visit S. Mesic will also have meetings
with NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamian and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian,
will be received by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

The President of Croatia will visit the Memorial Complex of Armenian
Genocide, will be at the Museum of Armenian Genocide.

S. Mesic will meet with lecturers and students at Yerevan State
University.

In the days of his visit to Armenia the President of Croatia will
also visit Matenadaran.

S. Mesic will leave Armenia on May 23.
