ArmInfo. The armament and the Russian military equipment is mainly
supplied to Belarus and Armenia within the frames of CSTO, CSTO
deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov said in Minsk on May 20,
CSTO spokesman Vitaly Strugovets told ArmInfo today.

‘In general, the agreement on the basic principles of the
military-technical cooperation within the frames of CSTO is in full
effect and envisages supply of the military equipment and armament
to CSTO countries at discount prices existing in Russia. The major
part of supplies is carried out as a grant assistance’, Semerikov
said. To note, the chairmanship in CSTO passed from Kyrgyzstan to
Armenia in 2008.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
