ArmInfo. Presidents of Armenia and Turkey Serzh Sargsyan and Abdullah
Gul met in Prague on May 7.

As the presidential press service reported, this is the second
meeting of the Armenian and Turkish presidents after A. Gul’s visit
to Yerevan on invitation of S. Sargsyan. Foreign Ministers of the
two countries Edward Nalbandyan and Ahmed Davutoglu also took part
in the meeting. Presidents of Armenia and Turkey positively assessed
the Prague meeting. The parties reached an agreement on ‘respect of
all the earlier reached agreements and movement towards normalization
of the Armenian-Turkish relations without preconditions and within
a reasonable time’.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
