ARMROSGASPROM: NATURAL GAS SUPPLY TO ARMENIA RESUMED

Natural gas supplies to Armenia are resumed, Press Secretary of
ArmRosgasprom cjsc Shushan Sardaryan reported.

According to the Georgian gas transporting company gas supply to
Armenia was suspended for the period from April 23 to April 26 due
to repair works on main near Tbilisi.

The supply was resumed as from the evening of April 26, Sardaryan said.

She confirmed that uninterrupted gas supply was provided to Armenian
consumers owing to Abovyan gas storage.

"ArmRosgasprom" holds the monopoly for supply and distribution of
the Russian natural gas on the domestic market in Armenia. The gas
is delivered to Armenia via Georgia.

The company was founded in 1997. Its stockholders are "Gasprom"
open joint stock company (80%) and the Armenian Government (20%).
