Iran, Armenia to Speedup Mutual Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Armenian
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisian stressed the
need for the two countries to remove barriers to speed up mutual
cooperation in line with the sides’ previous agreements.

The two ministers made the remarks during a meeting here in Tehran on
Saturday. Movsisian who chairs Iran-Armenia joint economic commission
is currently on an official visit to Iran to review the latest
conditions and developments in the two countries’ ties and
cooperation.

At the meeting, the two sides also studied the latest agreements and
documents signed by the Iranian and Armenian officials.

Mottaki and Movsisian also reviewed the latest developments in
economic fields and reiterated the necessity for accelerating
bilateral cooperation and removing the existing obstacles in the way
of the two countries’ ties and cooperation in accordance with the past
agreements.
