Will gas tariff increase result in passenger fare raise?

tariff increase will come into effect on Apr.1, 2009. `Gas tariff
increase can’t but affect the pricing for other products and
services. Still, the amount of gas used will be proportional to
possible price rise.’ RA Transport Minister Gurgen Sargsyan told a
news conference on Saturday.
`A right to effect public transportations is granted at tenders, where
the winner should maintain obligatory transportation price, as
stipulated in tender agreement. If market situation changes, companies
should file new applications for revision of stipulated conditions.
”Yet, so far, no application was submitted,” Sargsyan informed.
