"Nagorno-Karabakh will never gain independence. Azerbaijan takes not
only political, but also economic steps to resolve this question,"
Aliyev said," the President of Azerbaijan said during the referendum
while addressing the community at festive Novruz Holiday celebrations
in Baku on March 20.
"We try to solve the problem in a peaceable way, but within the frames
of justice and international law," the President said.
"The support provided during the referendum will give an opportunity
to realize democratic reforms in the country," Aliyev stated, speaking
about the constitutional referendum of March 18.
