/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Today the Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan
visited the Masis gold processing factory, was introduced to the output
capacity, the development programs, and the working conditions. As
the RA Government press service reports, the Director General of the
factory Aram Osikyan reported to the Prime Minister on the following:
founded in 1999, the company is engaged in research, exploration,
and calculation activities of the country’s ore deposits. The Masis
gold processing factory is one of the three projects successfully
carried out and has real development perspectives. There are already
20 positions available, another 15-20 with the minimum wages of 150
000 drams are due to be opened within the next two months.

In his talks with the journalists, Tigran Sargsyan said that the
conditions for the mining industry are not favourable considering the
world crisis; whereas for the gold processing, just on the contrary,
new possibilities spring up, and the Armenian entrepreneurs try to take
the chance. As he says, the Masis factory has all modern equipment
and corresponds to the existing standards. The Prime Minister also
mentioned that the work carried by the enterprises, specialized in
the local raw materials, is very important, and the agreement with
Yerevan Jewellery Factory on the full purchase of the ready-made
produce of the Masis factory is a good proof of it.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
