NAGORNO KARABAKH PEOPLE’S CONSENT AND PARTICIPATION ARE COMPULSORY FOR PROBLEM’S FINAL SOLUTION

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 3, NOYAN TAPAN. We cannot achieve Nagorno
Karabakh conflict all-embracing settlement without restoration of the
negotiations’ complete format and NKR’s full-value participation in
all stages of the negotiations process. NKR President Bako Sahakian
stated at the February 28 meeting with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs
Matthew Bryza, Yuri Merzliakov, and Bernard Fassier, who had arrived
in Artsakh.
The Co-chairs also gave assurance that Nagorno Karabakh people’s
consent and participation are compulsory for problem’s final solution.
According to the report of the NKR President’s Press Office,
B. Sahakian also touched upon Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian and bellicose
agitation considering it as one of the main obstacles to peaceful
settlement.
NKR Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosian and Personal Representative
of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk were also present at
the meeting.
