/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward
Nalbandian met Monday with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs, Ambassador Yuri
Merzlyakov (Russia), Ambassador Matthew Bryza (U.S.) and Ambassador
Bernard Fassier (France) as well as Personal Representative of OSCE
Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk to discuss the current
stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process.

The mediators briefed the Armenian Minister on the outcomes of talks
they held in Baku and Stepanakert.

For his part, Minister Nalbandian hailed the statement issued by the
OSCE MG Co-chairs on February 19. "The statement excludes resolution of
the conflict by use of force and is in full conformity with the Moscow
Declaration and the statements adopted during the OSCE ministerial
meeting in Helsinki," he said, the RA MFA press office reports.

On February 19, the OSCE MG Co-chairs issued a statement which says
that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be resolved peacefully.

"The core element of just and lasting resolution of the conflict is
non-use of force," the statement says.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
