ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES IMF DELEGATION

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
received today the delegation of International Monetary Fund which
consisted of the executive director of IMF Ah Backer, deputy director
of Middle East and Central Asian department Lorenso Peres, head of
the Armenian mission Mark Luis and permanent representative in Armenia
Ninke Omes.
Presidential press service told Armenpress that during the meeting the
head of the country highly assessed the cooperation of IMF with Armenia
and expressed gratitude for the support to Armenia. The president
reconfirmed the readiness of the Armenian authorities to act actively
for smoothing the consequences of financial-economic crisis.
During the conversation the sides also discussed issues on partnership
programs of IMF and Armenia in conditions of crisis.
